A bill that would establish crimes for untraceable firearms, aka “ghost guns”, is up for a final vote in the NJ Assembly on Monday, Oct. 29th. S2465/A3129 establishes crimes of purchasing firearm parts to unlawfully manufacture firearms without a serial number, manufacturing or possessing covert or undetectable firearms, and manufacturing or facilitating the manufacture of firearms using a three-dimensional printer.
The Senate bill passed unanimously on June 7, 2018, and is heading to the Assembly for a full vote.
